Pressure-Demand Duo-Flo™ Respirator
A full-facepiece air-line respirator, with a waist-mounted filter or chemical canister, providing two operating modes.
The air-supplied mode provides respirable air on demand, while maintaining a slight positive pressure inside the facepiece, from a compressed air source, such as a cascade system, enabling the user to work for long periods in contaminated atmospheres.
Since this respirator can be used at a higher concentration level than the category C7 Constant-Flow Duo-Flo Respirator, the air-purifying mode can be used for emergency escape purposes only.
The unit comes equipped with a HEPA filter and Foster quick-disconnects. Nine other canisters common to MSA Chin-Type Gas Masks are available, providing protection against a variety of contaminants.
