Pressure-Demand Duo-Flo™ Respirator
A full-facepiece air-line respirator, with a waist-mounted filter or chemical canister, providing two operating modes.
The air-supplied mode provides respirable air on demand, while maintaining a slight positive pressure inside the facepiece, from a compressed air source, such as a cascade system, enabling the user to work for long periods in contaminated atmospheres.
The air-purifying mode can be used during entry, exit or when the worker must be disconnected from the air source. The air-purifying mode can also be used for emergency escape purposes.
The unit comes equipped with a HEPA filter and Foster quick-disconnects. Nine other canisters common to MSA Chin-Type Gas Masks are available, providing protection against a variety of contaminants.
