C3 - Gas Mask, Industrial and Super-Size

Industrial-Type Gas Mask

   Consists of an Ultra Elite or Ultravue full-facepiece, breathing tube, harness and large replaceable chemical-sorbent canister.
   The canister is positioned in front of the worker at the waist, or on his back, with a nylon harness and is connected to the facepiece by a breathing tube.
   The industrial-type gas mask assembly may be used for escape from contaminant concentrations up to the maximum use limitation of the gas mask (generally 2% by volume), provided there is adequate oxygen (19.5% by volume) to support life.

Super-Size Gas Mask

   Consists of an Ultra Elite or Ultravue full-facepiece, breathing tube, harness and extra-large replaceable chemical-sorbent canister.
   The canister is positioned in front of the worker at the waist, or on his back, with a nylon harness and is connected to the facepiece by a breathing tube.
   The Super-Size Gas Mask Canister will last twice as long as the Industrial-Type Canister.
   The Super-Size Gas Mask assembly may be used for escape from contaminant concentrations up to the maximum use limitation of the gas mask (generally 2% by volume), provided there is adequate oxygen (19.5% by volume) to support life.

Type N Gas Mask

   Designed for respiratory protection against certain gases, vapors and where carbon monoxide (CO) may also be present.
   The gas mask consists of an Ultravue or Ultra Elite full-facepiece, breathing tube, harness and replaceable chemical-sorbent canister.  Nylon harnesses for either front or back mounting are available.
   The Type N Gas Mask has a Window-Cator® Canister, a colored window which indicates when the canister is losing its effectiveness against CO.
   The Type N Canister also provides respiratory protection against dusts, fumes and mists having a Time Weighted Average of less than 0.05 mg/m3, including asbestos and radionuclides.
