Each probed facepiece is equipped with a built-in probe assembly, sampling line, and a clothing clip to hold the sampling line. The probes are made of solid brass. In all MSA half-facepiece models, the probe is attached to the body of the respirator. Full-facepiece respirators are probed through the lens and sealed with a neoprene washer and brass fittings.MSA also offers probed lenses for use with existing Ultravue facepieces. These lenses come completely assembled with the same brass probe, sealing hardware, and sampling line as the probed full facepieces. All respirators use standard MSA high-efficiency filters for tests. Basic Info
