Freedom Series V-Gard® Slotted Caps and Non-Slotted Hats meet all applicable requirements for a Type I (top impact) helmet as outlined in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 (Class E), and also as outlined in CSA Z94.1-2005 (Class E) with 1-Touch® and Fas-Trac® Suspensions.

Freedom Series V-Gard Caps and Hats also meet the ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 voluntary standard for reverse donning.

WARNING: Do not mix suspension and helmet sizes. Make sure the sizes match (i.e., standard-size suspension with standard-size helmet). Use only MSA suspensions on an MSA helmet. Failure to comply with the above will reduce the energy-absorbing ability of the protective helmet, which can result in serious injury or death.

The bright designs on the cap’s .030-inch thick vacuum-formed glossy cover are very attractive and have a superior finish. Available in two V-Gard cap styles, an American flag design with stars and stripes on each side and a Canadian design featuring a red maple leaf graphic on a white helmet. MSA’s Fas-Trac® suspension ensures the caps are lightweight, durable and comfortable. Accessory slots accept all MSA V-Gard accessories and your logo can be custom imprinted on top of the design.
